Bio & Mission
Rosco’s Pizza opened its doors November of 2010 in the Alaskan fishing community of Ninilchik. The idea was simply to create fantastic food in a fun, casually Alaskan atmosphere served with genuine hospitality at a price that keeps people coming back.
Here’s how it’s done at Rosco’s:
Start with delicious recipes developed from decades of cooking in excellent kitchens across the country. Use top shelf ingredients: real olive oil, fresh produce, choice meats and cheeses. Hand-craft everything from scratch with equipment and techniques born in Italy and perfected in our Ninilchik kitchen. Add love. Taste and enjoy.
Our wall murals feature the unique art from local artist Linda Smith. Much of Rosco’s wall décor is picked from local galleries, shops and even the Kenai mountain trails. Our rustic log furniture is hand-built by local Anchor River artisan furniture maker Ken Scofield. Retail items are locally produced or crafted here on the Kenai Peninsula. Stamp our dining room “Made in Alaska”.
We don’t always serve from the left (or is that serve to the right??) here at Rosco’s… we are more interested in making you feel comfortable than following rules. If you have dietary needs or have something special in mind that we may be able to do, please ask. We will make you feel well taken care of here at Rosco’s. With a smile and a thank you. We can also accommodate large or small catered parties on or off premise.
